My photographic elements are light, presence and beauty. I photograph natural, urban and industrial landscapes, the city streets and their art and architecture. As the light fades, colours saturate and shadows lengthen, then I see more. I explore connections with an outsider’s or tourist’s perspective and look for stillness and the silence behind everything.

My influences include Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Doisneau.
